Yes, you got me again this year with a surprise birthday party! I had thought that I’d dodged the bullet, not that I’m not appreciative, it’s just that I’m not one to be the center of attention or to be in the spotlight, I’d rather sit back and enjoy.

After selling the building, we only had two and a half weeks to liquidate inventory and move out. Well, it just so happened that my birthday fell during that time period, so I thought thought there wasn’t enough time for the scrapbook ladies to pull it off. To my SURPRISE, they did.

I’m truly blessed to have such a great group of gals as friends!

Have you ever heard the old saying “bitter sweet”, well it’s one of those times for me, as I have sold my building or as you know it “Pineywoods Scrapbook Nook”.  In the almost 3 years the store has been open, I’ve met some incredibly talented people and made some wonderful friendships. I truly believe, God has a plan for all of us and this is where he is taking me next. Most of you know that I’ve been having health issues and I need time to heal.

 Pineywoods Scrapbook Nook will not be dissolved; we will not have a store front any longer however, we will be continuing classes at Toledo Bend Bed & Breakfast. Our monthly Cut ‘N Crop class will continue to be on the last Tuesday of the month at 6 pm, you will not miss out on that “free” album, and there will also be a Saturday All Day
Crop each month along with other classes to be offered. There will be limited products for sale such as cardstock, adhesives and other popular items at crops and classes. The Kodak Photo Kiosk will also be available.

Cut ‘N Crop is a monthly double-page layout class. The October class will feature the “Forever Fall” collection by BoBunny. This fall collection has very vibrant colors of yellow, orange and browns. I’ve heard so many “ooos and ahhhhs” when scrappers look at this collection that I’m excited for this class to hear even more excitement. Included in this class, you will receive the 12″x12″ “Forever Fall” sticker sheet. When you join our monthly scrap group, you will receive a membership card. After attending a Cut ‘N Crop class your card will be stamped, after 12 stamps you will receive a 12”x12” scrapbook album for “free”. Class sample is always on display in the store prior to class. Cost of the class is $14.95 and pre-registratio​n is required.
